How do I use the price classifications when creating a product?

Here are some examples of how some ePublishing clients use classifications:

  1. To present discounts for subscribers. For example, if your reader is logged-in, he will see the discounted price or that the product is free. If he is not logged in, he will see the full price.
  2. To drive bulk event registrations by the company or the table.

Classifications are found under Pricing Options on the bottom of the first page of your product when editing.

Find the Product Manager under Revenue on your dashboard.

Classifications are set up by your ePublishing Solutions Manager.

For example, a product price may be reduced if someone is a subscriber. If you have questions, please contact your Solutions Manager.

To view and select Classifications, click the Classification field.

The Classification will appear in the box after successfully selecting it. Classifications are unique to your website.
